DESCRIPTION:\n\nThe Fernie Stoke Fest is a party for everyone! The Fernie-based band\, Shred Kelly\, and friends are back for another weekend of stoke folk in downtown Fernie\, redefining what folk-rock means for this era!\n\nThrough their individual pan-Canadian backgrounds\, Tim Newton\, Sage McBride\, Jordan Vlasschaert\, Ian Page-Shiner\, and Ty West have amplified the traditional sound of folk music with a more contemporary approach. Pushing the boundaries of the genre\, they have incorporated a wide range of influences to create a sound that is uniquely called ‘Stoke Folk.’ The band is best known for their dynamic\, high-energy and engaging live show that leaves no dance floor vacant.\n\n5:30 to 8:00 pm - an all ages show\n\n8:30 pm until late - a show for the grown-ups (19+)\n\n\n\n\nTickets for the Fernie Stoke Fest are on sale at Freyja Fashion Clothing in downtown Fernie.
