DESCRIPTION:\n\nThe Lake Windermere District Rod and Gun Club's Family Fishing Day is one of winter's best events. Weather permitting\, the club's blue ice fishing hut on Lake Windermere will be a busy place when members and their families get together to fish. They say some of the best fish are caught through the ice every winter and we hope to catch a few this weekend.\n\nDon't worry if you don't have fishing gear - we will have rods\, reels and bait for you for the day.\n\nThere will be a barbecue with hotdogs and brats\, all the trimmings\, hot chocolate and coffee right there.\n\nLook for the hut on the west side of the lake\, near Abel Creek\, just south of Kinsmen Beach. You can't miss it!\n\nContact the club for further information.\n\n \n\n
