DESCRIPTION:Coal Miner Days is an annual community event the second weekend in June which celebrates the mining heritage of the area and highlights the great amenities which Sparwood has to offer. It's a great way to get to know the community and why the folks here love it.\n\nThere's something to make everyone in the family happy at Coal Miner Days - from lots of sports events to a car show\, a cabaret - and even a petting zoo!  You'll learn about safety and emergency measures from organizations in the community.
