The purpose of this week\, from July 1 to 9\, 2017\, is to encourage Canadians to get out and enjoy putting a line in one of Canada’s million lakes\, rivers and streams. And to get you motivated\, you don't even have to buy a fishing license if you fish on the two days at the start of the week and the two days at the end. So\, to clarify that  ....\n\na license is not required on:\n\n \tJuly 1st\n \tJuly 2nd\n \tJuly 8th\n \tJuly 9th\n\nWhat a great opportunity to take the family on a short fishing holiday weekend. So let's celebrate National Fishing Week while we're celebrating Canada's 150th birthday!
