DESCRIPTION:The Canal Flats Fall Fair and Artisan Market is back for the 3rd year and it's going to be the biggest yet!  Bigger and better is the plan. There will be lots of good stuff to put happy faces on everyone. Here's what is on the 2017 program:\n\nScarecrow Contest \nDesign and construct your very own\, original\, scarecrow\, display it at home or bring it to display at the Community Centre and the public will be the judges! You could be one of the 3 winners!\n\nBest Pumpkin Contest\nCarve a pumpkin at home. Let your imagination go wild. Bring it to the Community Hall for the judges. There will be 3 winners.\n\nHouse Decorating Contest\nGet into the Halloween spirit. Get spooky! Decorate your yard by October 20th. The judges will be driving around the neighborhoods to decide which one's the best. The 3 winners will receive their prizes at the fair.\n\nCandy Jar Contest\nGuess how many candies are in the jar? It's free and the prize for the guess closest to the actual number will be --- can you guess?\n\nVendor Market\n\nArtisans will be offering jewelry\, soaps\, baking\, canning and crafts at the various tables. Have you made your Christmas shopping list yet? You might just find the perfect gift for someone special. Or take home a special treat for the family's dinner.\n\nThere are lots of Door Prizes to be won! Free Hot Chocolate!
