DESCRIPTION:Canal Days is a much anticipated annual event\, a celebration of the many reasons why the Canal Flats folks love living in the pleasant little community. They go all out every year\, with events for every person\, young and not-so-young. Everyone has a great time and the memories made can last a lifetime.\n\nCanal Days is also a chance to put off the last vestiges of winter and embrace the coming summer\, with all the things that the community has to offer its residents and visitors.\n2018 Canal Days Schedule\nWed. May 30th\n\n\n6:00 - 8:00 pm - Youth Bingo at the Civic Centre\, from 6 pm sharp to 8 pm (doors open at 5:30 pm). This is a fun event for youth ages 8 to 16 years.Cost is $2 for 2 cards and extra cards are 25 cents each. Parents are welcome to come and help the young players. For more info\, contact Heidi at 250-349-5585.\n\nThursday\, May 31st\n\n7:00 pm - The Canal Days Bingo is one of the highlights of Canal Days\, with some extra special bonuses such as a $500.00 Bonanza and a $500.00 Free Game. If you bring 3 food Items for our food bank or donate $5.00\, you'll receive 1 extra card for the free game!  There are door prizes to be won too! Doors open at 5:30 pm ~ Bingo starts at 7 pm. (Note: This is the last Bingo night until the season starts up again September 17th)\n\nThe Canal Days Amazing Race\n6:00 - 8:00 pm - The Canal Days Amazing Race is open to all youth in grades 6 and up.  Meet at Base Camp\nOpen to all Youth in grade 6 and up. Looking for teams of 3 or 4 and also volunteers. Please register with Angela Miller at: columbiavalleyyouthnetwork@hotmail.com\n\n[metaslider id=12320]\n\nSaturday\, June 2nd \n\n8 to 10 am - Pancake Breakfast\n10:30 am - Line up at 10.30 for the Parade at the school (4891 Beatty Ave)\n11:00 am - Parade\n10:00 am - 4:00 pm - Classic Car Show at Baillie Grohman & Arbuckle St. (Burn out Pit at 5:00 pm)  Call Sjak at 259-919-2104\n12:00 - 4:00 pm - Live Music with Marty and Elli\n11:00 am - 5:00 pm - Beer Garden\n12:00 pm - Registration for Horse Shoe Tournament.
