DESCRIPTION:Do you have thoughts about backyard agriculture on single family residential parcels in the Columbia Valley\, most notably about keeping chickens for egg production\, hobby-type beekeeping and wildlife-proof garden fencing? Perhaps you haven't made up your mind but want to hear what others have to say. Come join us at this community workshop and be part of the decision-making process.\n\nThis process is applicable for land within RDEK but not in the District of Invermere\, the Village of Radium Hot Springs or the Village of Canal Flats.\n\nOur discussion will be about small scale backyard agriculture\, then we will complete a survey about your level of support for the concept.
