DESCRIPTION:Art Walk is a FREE self-guided tour in Invermere\, one of summer’s favorite events and a wonderful opportunity to discover the works of various artists and artisans in the Columbia Valley while enjoying a completely relaxed stroll around the community.\n\nSix local Invermere galleries have come together to provide venues where you can enjoy art\, watch fascinating demonstrations and meet the artists. Art Walk also provides an opportunity to visit galleries you might miss otherwise.\n\nYou can cover all the galleries in one evening\, starting perhaps at the Bavin Glassworks and ending at the Pynelogs Cultural Centre Art Gallery. Or you can personalize your Art Walk by visiting one gallery each week; that way\, you can spend more time taking in all that a particular gallery has to offer.\n\nHowever you choose to “art walk” you will enjoy a pleasant Friday evening stroll and you’ll discover hidden treasures that will make you want to do it all over again.\n\nWhen?\n\nArt Walk is a weekly affair – every Friday evening from July 7th to August 24th (4 pm - 8 pm).\n\nHow?\n\nPick up a map at any one of the participating galleries.
