With an open-concept floor plan and an amazing view of the Columbia Valley, this cozy 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom vacation rental condo that sleeps 4 people is on the ground floor at Sable Ridge in Radium Hot Springs BC.
The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to make meal preparation a breeze. There is a dining area and a living area with a lovely rock gas fireplace, TV, DVD and stereo.
The master bedroom has a full ensuite and a queen-sized bed, the second bedroom has a two single beds and a shared ensuite with stand-up shower and washer/dryer.
There is a north-facing deck with patio furniture and BBQ, air conditioning and WiFi internet. Fresh towels, linens, dishcloths, soaps and paper products are supplied.
A common area has a hot tub for use year-round and an outdoor swimming pool for your pleasure in the summer months.
Radium Hot Springs really shines in the summer, with golfing at the famed Radium Resort and the Radium Springs golf courses or one of several others within an easy drive. Kootenay National Park, right on your doorstep, offers miles of trails for hiking and viewing the many wildlife species that make their homes in the mountain wilderness. If mountain climbing is your passion, the legendary peaks in Bugaboo Provincial Park will challenge your skills. And there are other activities such as rafting and trail riding as well.
There are some really great eating establishments in Radium Hot Springs -– cafes, pizza and ice cream parlors and family dining establishments that serve European and North American cuisine, for the times when you just don’t want to cook a meal.
Just 20 minutes down the highway, Invermere offers shopping, dining and plenty of waterside activities on Lake Windermere. Boating, kayaking, water skiing, swimming and just relaxing on the beach make for good family memories.
Winter time brings lots of snow to the valley and in and around the village, you can cross-country ski, snowshoe, snowmobile and more. If you want to experience some great downhill skiing, a short drive up to Panorama Mountain Resort will take you to some of the finest slopes in North America.
When the day is over, there is no finer way to relax tired muscles that with a soak in the warm, therapeutic waters at the hot pools. Then come home to a fireside cup of cocoa at your vacation rental condo at Sable Ridge in Radium Hot Springs BC.
