With an open-concept design, the property has a fully equipped kitchen with granite countertops, a dining area and a living area with a beautiful rock gas fireplace, flat-screen TV, DVD and stereo.
The master bedroom features a queen-sized bed and a full ensuite bathroom. The second bedroom also has a queen-sized bed and a shared ensuite bathroom with stand-up shower and washer/dryer. The den contains single bunk beds.
A south-facing balcony has a BBQ and patio furniture and offers a spectacular view of the mountains.
There is air-conditioning throughout and the property has a plug-in internet modem (wired internet). Fresh towels, linens, dishcloths, soaps and paper products are supplied. There is an outdoor pool for use in the summer months and a hot tub for your pleasure year-round.
Dining out in Radium Hot Springs is easy with several great restaurants offering authentic European and North American cuisine –- or why not order in a pizza when you just want a quick meal? And on a hot afternoon, there is nothing better than an ice-cream cone from Screamer’s.
In the summer, enjoy the golfing at the village’s Radium Resort, Radium Springs or at any of several other courses in the vicinity. There is excellent hiking in nearby Kootenay National Park and mountain climbing at Bugaboo Provincial Park. You can also trail-ride into the backcountry or have an exciting rafting adventure on the Columbia River.
A trip to Invermere is a must, with shopping, dining, and perhaps a movie. Spend the day at Lake Windermere boating, water-skiing, fishing, swimming or picnicking at one of the two waterside parks with lovely sandy beaches, shade trees, washrooms and kids’ playgrounds.
In winter, you can ski cross-country, snowshoe or snowmobile on the many trails in and around the village of Radium and downhill ski on some of North America’s best slopes at Panorama Mountain Village, just a few minutes drive away.
At the end of a memory-filled day, visit Radium Hot Springs’ legendary hot pools for a soak in the warm therapeutic waters, then come home to your vacation rental condo at Sable Ridge, put your feet up and sip a hot drink by the fireside.
