RR001 – Radium Hot Springs – Radium Resort
Accommodating 8 people with ease and comfort, this 2-bedroom+den, 2-bathroom vacation rental townhome overlooking the beautiful Radium Resort Golf Course in Radium Hot Springs BC is perfect for golf groups and families.
On the main floor are a fully equipped kitchen, a dining area, a family living room with TV, DVD, stereo, sofa bed and access to a south-facing deck with BBQ, patio furniture and a spectacular view of the golf course and mountains. On this level, there is also a bathroom with stand-up shower.
The bedrooms are on the lower walk-out level. Both the master bedroom and the second bedroom have queen-sized beds and the third, in an open den area has a double/single bunk combination and a single bed. This level has a full bathroom.
Fresh towels, linens, dishcloths, soaps and paper products are supplied. Note: There is no internet.
This property is only a 2-minute walk from the Resort and although it does not include free access to the resort pool or fitness centre, a day pass may be purchased. There are great restaurants in the village for those days when you just don’t feel like cooking.
Of course, golfing is a favorite sport in the summer season, with not only the resort golf course, but also several other championship courses in the near vicinity. Kootenay National Park is adjacent to Radium Hot Springs with miles of hiking trails for the enthusiast. Bugaboos Provincial Park offers hiking and mountain climbing as well. You can even trail ride into the backcountry or raft on the Columbia River.
A 20-minute drive south takes you to Invermere for a day’s shopping in quaint boutiques and art galleries, or swimming, boating, water skiing and fishing on Lake Windermere. There are two lovely waterside parks in town with sandy beaches, washrooms, picnic tables and kids’ playgrounds. Then dine in a fine restaurant and perhaps take in a movie at the old-fashioned theatre.
In winter, there are cross-country skiing and snowshoeing in and around Radium while nearby Panorama Mountain Resort offers fabulous downhill and heli-skiing, snowboarding and dogsledding.
In whatever season you choose to visit Radium Hot Springs, you will want to visit the famed hot pools for a relaxing soak in the therapeutic waters before coming home to your vacation rental townhome at Radium Hot Springs Resort in beautiful BC.
