The fully equipped kitchen has granite countertops, stainless-steel appliances and a breakfast bar. There is a dining area and living area which features a flat-screen TV, DVD, stereo and corner gas fireplace with access to a west-facing patio with BBQ and your own private hot tub.
The master bedroom with king-sized bed has a full ensuite bathroom and the second bedroom has a queen/double bunk bed, perfect for kids or two adults. There is a washer/dryer in the unit and fresh linens, towels, dishcloths, soaps and paper products are supplied.
A 3-minute drive takes you to the parking area at the base of the ski hill or you can walk there in 10 minutes and return in 15 minutes.
If you are looking for peaceful seclusion, this could be the perfect home-away-from-home for you, with a lovely green space for kids right in your backyard. A short distance away is Kimberley Nature Park with 1,800 acres of trails for hiking and biking. And in summer, there are fly fishing, rafting, kayaking –- and, of course, golfing.
In winter, Kimberley Alpine Resort really shines, with hours and hours of sunshine, short lift lines and tons of powdery white snow on 1,800 acres of groomed runs and deep glades for all ages and abilities. There is a lovely outdoor rink where the family can skate under the stars, making for lots of happy memories.
The food is great at Montana’s Cookhouse at the ski base and there is live music at the Stemwinder Bar and Grill. And if you want a change, take a trip to the Platzl in downtown Kimberley where there are shops and Bavarian-style restaurants that specialize in authentic European cuisine.
