This beautiful 2-bedroom+loft, 2-bathroom vacation rental log chalet at the Canadian Mountain Cabins in Kimberley Alpine Resort sleeps 10, ideal for a large family or a group. If your family includes a four-footed member, bring him along too, because pets are welcome!
Located in a quiet setting off the beaten path, it is full of rustic charm and has all the conveniences of home. The main floor has a fully equipped kitchen with breakfast bar, country dining area and a living area with satellite TV, DVD, stereo, stone-faced wood-burning fireplace, a sofa bed and access to a southwest-facing patio with BBQ and patio furniture. A back deck features a private hot tub. The master bedroom with queen-sized bed is also on the main floor.
The lower level contains the second bedroom with a queen-sized bed and a living area with sofa bed and TV.
The spacious loft features 2 queen-sized beds.
We supply fresh linens, towels, dishcloths, soaps, and paper products. Pet fee: $25 per night, or $100 for 4 night stays or longer. Please note: There is construction taking place behind this cabin.
Besides downhill skiing on 1,800 acres of great terrain, you can choose snowshoeing and cross-country skiing on a variety of groomed trails, dogsled, skate on the resort’s outdoor rink or do some great night skiing. Enjoy live music at the Stemwinder Bar and Grill or take the family out for a great dinner at Montana’s Cookhouse at the ski base.
Want a bit of a break from the slopes? Downtown Kimberley’s Platzl offers quaint Bavarian-style shops and restaurants and it’s only 2 km from the resort. In summer, you can enjoy hiking and biking in Kimberley Nature Park, one of the largest municipal parks in Canada or do some fly fishing, rafting, golfing or kayaking. Then come home to your very own vacation rental chalet at Kimberley Alpine Resort.
