This lovely 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom vacation rental condo, perfect for couples, is located on the ground floor of the Poplar building at The Peaks in Radium Hot Springs, BC.
Easily accommodating 6 people, the condo has a fully equipped kitchen, a dining area and living area with TV, DVD, gas fireplace, double hide-a-bed and access to a south-facing walk-out patio with BBQ and patio furniture.
The master bedroom features a queen-sized bed and a full ensuite bathroom. The second bedroom, situated on the other side of the unit, has a queen-sized bed and there is a full bathroom in the hallway.
The unit is air-conditioned and has washer/dryer and a plug-in internet modem (wired internet). Fresh linens, towels, dishcloths, soaps and paper products are supplied. There is an indoor hot tub for your pleasure year-round and in the summertime, you can enjoy the heated outdoor pool.
In summer, Radium Hot Springs offers great golfing at both the Radium Resort and the Radium Springs golf courses and there are several other outstanding courses in the near vicinity. Next door to the village is Kootenay National Park, with miles of excellent hiking trails and if you like to climb, Bugaboos Provincial Park is close by, with fabulous peaks to challenge even the best mountaineer. You can also do some white-water rafting or enjoy the scenery on a trail ride. Radium also boasts excellent restaurants, many serving authentic European and North American cuisine, plus cafes, pizza and ice cream shops.
Just 15 minutes south is Invermere, for great shopping in lovely boutiques and art galleries. Plan a day at the beach on Lake Windermere or do some great boating or fishing in the clear blue waters of this exceptional lake.
In the autumn, the Rocky Mountain bighorn sheep come down from the mountains to winter in Radium Hot Springs and the camera enthusiast will be able to see whole families of these 4-legged friends crossing the highway, wandering along the village streets and resting on the front yards of the homes in the neighborhood.
Winter offers cross-country skiing, snowshoeing and snowmobiling in and around Radium and Panorama Mountain Village is only a short drive away. You can downhill ski on the beautifully groomed slopes, do some heli-skiing or maybe even have a dog-sledding adventure.
After a busy day in any season, you will want to visit to the famed hot pools where you can soothe and relax your tired muscles. Then, come home to your cozy Radium Hot Springs vacation rental condo at The Peaks, cozy up to a lovely fire and have a hot drink. Pure pleasure!
