Sep 5, Panorama –
Imagine a late summer day golfing on one of the most beautiful golf courses in the world. The scenery is breathtaking and there is just a hint of fall in the crisp mountain air. Could there possibly be anything more perfect than that? Well, yes there could! The perfect day –- and a chance to win $100,000 to boot!
The Panorama Foundation’s 9th Annual Cliffhanger Shootout will be taking place at Greywolf Golf Course on Sunday, September 5th. This year the event has been expanded and has a new format. Everyone playing at Greywolf on September 5th will automatically be entered in the Shootout. You will play your usual 18 holes and have the opportunity to win one of several fantastic prizes throughout your round. And if you get a hole-in-one on Cliffhanger (Greywolf’s famous 6th hole) — $100,000!
To enter, simply book a tee time as usual. There’s nothing to it! You will pay $50 in addition to the green fee on that particular day and you will be entered automatically. If you don’t want to pay the extra $50, you will have to postpone your golf until another day.
The prizes will be given away in draws for entrants, or awarded on the course for winning contests that will be set up along the way. If you get hungry, you can snack at complimentary food and drink stations on the course.
The prizes are spectacular! How about winning a brand new set of golf clubs? Or a golf package for 4 persons at Greywolf or Copper Point? There will be golf packages for 2 at The Ridge at Copper Point and Eagle Ranch or for 4 at the Springs in Radium. There’s a $250 gift certificate for Greywolf’s golf shop and 3 $150 certificates. You could win a Panorama ski vacation, an OGIO golf bag, clothing and lots more.
All proceeds from the event will be donated to the Panorama Fire Department and will go towards the purchase of an embankment rescue kit, a crucial piece of equipment that firefighters use at all accident scenes requiring rope rescue.
So plan to be at Greywolf on the 5th. We’re looking forward to seeing you there!
