An amazing view of Lake Windermere with a backdrop of spectacular mountains makes this second-floor, 3-bedroom/2-bathroom vacation rental condo at Heron Point in Invermere BC the ideal family getaway in every season. It is a convenient 5-minute walk from the town’s main street and overlooks the lovely sandy beach at Kinsmen Park.
Sleeping 7 people and designed with an open floor plan, this condo features a fully equipped kitchen with stainless-steel appliances and a living area with flat-screen TV, DVD, gas fireplace and a hide-a-bed.
The master bedroom has a king–sized bed, TV and a full ensuite bathroom. The second bedroom has a queen-sized bed and TV and the third bedroom has a double/single bunk bed combination and a TV. There is another full bathroom.
A south-facing balcony with BBQ and patio furniture overlooks the gorgeous outdoor pool with deck chairs and umbrellas, open from the May long weekend until the September long weekend.
The unit has an ensuite washer/dryer and is air conditioned. Fresh towels, linens, dishcloths, soaps and paper products are provided.
The lake offers boating, swimming, fishing and kayaking in the summer, with plenty of green space, a playground and picnic tables in the park for family fun. Shopping in downtown Invermere is a pleasure with quaint boutiques, art galleries, cafes, fine restaurants and even an old-fashioned movie theatre. And for the golfer, there are over a dozen amazing golf courses in the town and surrounding area.
In winter, the Whiteway on Lake Windermere offers a well groomed 15km track on the ice for pleasure skating, skate skiing, ice hockey and cross-country skiing as well as ice fishing and even the annual Bonspiel on the Lake. Just a short drive takes you to Panorama Mountain Village where there is great skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing, cross-country and heli-skiing and even dogsledding.
